MANCHESTER, NH — Friends of New Hampshire Drug Courts (FNHDC), the first statewide drug court support organization in the nation, is pleased to announce a charitable gaming contribution of $98,798.60 from REVO Casino and Social House in Manchester. This substantial funding will directly support participants across the Granite State’s drug courts as they work to rebuild their lives and break the cycle of addiction and incarceration.
The organization's mission is to remove financial barriers and provide the support needed for New Hampshire’s recovery court participants to realize their full potential. These funds will empower resilience and eliminate obstacles that might otherwise contribute to recidivism and returning to active substance use. Grants from FNHDC help participants afford critical needs including recovery housing, transportation, job training, health and dental care, and basics like food and clothing. With this support, they have stronger chances of successfully building better futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Drug courts serve as a well-proven alternative to incarceration, combining intensive judicial supervision with substance use disorder treatment to lead people with substance use disorders out of the justice system and into lives of health and recovery. Rather than serving jail time, eligible non-violent offenders work to secure stable housing, employment, and transportation as part of their recovery, typically graduating in 12 to 24 months.
While Aaron C., a recent graduate of the Hillsborough County North Drug Court, was in the program, he applied for a FNHDC grant to help him afford “dishware, pots, pans, and a small kid’s bed.” He wrote: “This funding is important because it is my next step in becoming independent and getting custody of my daughter,” and that he wanted to express how much the “help means to myself and my family. We love and appreciate you. God bless."

Attorney Anthony Naro, Board President of FNHDC, said, “In 2024, FNHDC assisted 189 individuals on their path to healing. We deeply appreciate REVO Casino and Social House’s generous contribution, which will allow us to do more to support those working to transform their lives.”
